The small print
Privacy
We ask for one thing and we do one thing with it.
The whole of it: we ask for your email address, once, so we can send you a link. That is the only thing we collect.
What we collect, and why

We do not ask for your name, your phone number, your address, your age or your payment details, because we do not need them.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your email address, rent it, or pass it to a brand. Not for money, not as a favour.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.
- We do not build a profile of you, and we do not try to work out who you are.
Where it is kept
Your email sits in a private Google Sheet that only we can open, and the emails we send go out through Google. Google therefore processes this data on our behalf, and it may be stored on their servers outside India. Our website is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server records of page requests.
Only Salonee and Aachal have access to the list.
Cookies
We set no cookies and run no trackers. The one thing this site stores is a small note in your own browser remembering that you have already opened a list, so you are not asked twice. It never leaves your device, we cannot read it, and clearing your browser data removes it. Clearing it costs you nothing but one re-entry.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to stop, or until we stop sending these lists. If you ask to be removed, we delete the row rather than marking it inactive.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it entirely.
- Withdraw your consent, at any time, without giving a reason.
Any of these takes one email, or a reply saying "stop" to anything we have sent you. We will do it within a few days and confirm when it is done. You will not be asked to explain yourself or sent through a form.
Children
This site is written for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect the email address of anyone under 18. If one has reached us, tell us and we will delete it.
If something goes wrong
If we ever lose control of this list, we will tell the people on it and the Data Protection Board, as the Act requires.
Asking us anything

If we have not sorted out your complaint, you may raise it with the Data Protection Board of India.
If we change any of this, the date at the bottom changes with it. If a change affects how we use your email, we will email you before it takes effect rather than quietly editing this page.
